Blues Traveler on tour, honor U.S. troops
Blues Traveler, the American rock band who has been around since 1987, is currently on tour through November. They are honoring U.S. troops by offering them free tickets to all of their fall shows.
According to the BT website:
“In a continuing effort to reach out to all our service men and women and say thank you we are giving away tickets to all our upcoming FALL shows. We are donating to USO branches but know that several areas do not have local branches – no worries, if you are a service man or woman and you would like to attend one of the following shows, shoot us an email at foreverowed@gmail.com with a brief note on why you want to go and a copy of your military i.d. Please note there are a limited number of tickets to each show, so it will be first come first served. Thank you to all of you who help make this country great! See you this fall!”
Despite their name, Blues Traveler, the group is known for a number of genres, including soul, Southern rock and folk rock. Their current members include singer John Popper, guitarist Chan Kinchla, bassist Tad Kinchla, drummer Brendan Hill and keyboardist Ben Wilson.
