Blues Travelers Play Benefit for Juvenile Diabetes
Blues Traveler will be performing at the Dare 2 Dream Event April 15, 2010 in Chicago, IL. This event is in its eighth installment and hosted by Chicago based, Partnership for Cures, a non-profit organization dedicated to raising awareness and helping to find a cure for juvenile diabetes.
“We are very excited to be teaming up with Dare 2 Dream for our return to Chicago in support of such an important cause,” says Blues Traveler. “Juvenile diabetes is a serious problem in this country and one that unfortunately is often overlooked so we are thrilled at the chance to raise awareness and money for this cause and help Partnership for Cures to continue with their mission.”
Every hour one Child is diagnosed with juvenile diabetes (or type 1). It has been reported by the National Institutes of Health that juvenile diabetes in American children and adolescents is increasing. Please come out and show your support for this wonderful cause.
